The Egbe Isokan Yoruba proudly announces the establishment of Institute of Yoruba Language and Culture. For the preservation of the Yoruba Culture among the descendants, learning to understand and speak the language is crucial.

The Institute is staffed by distinguished college lecturers and professionals who are native speakers of the Yoruba language.

The Institute teaches Yoruba language fundamentals through audio, visual, and tactile information processing. The institute emphasizes:

  • Phonology -Pitches, and stresses of accents on Yoruba vowels and consonants.
  • Morphology -The combination of consonants and vowels into monosyllabic words.
  • Syntax -The rules governing meaningful combination of Yoruba words.
  • Semantics -The vocabulary building and meaning of Yoruba words and sentence.
